Privacy & cookie policy
Last updated: October 9, 2026
This policy explains how the Candy Lotto website (“we”) handles information when you use the site.
In short
- No sign-up and no accounts — we don’t ask for your name, email or phone number.
- No payments — we never ask for card or bank details.
- Your game progress is saved on your device only and never reaches us.
- Optional cookies (statistics and advertising) are used only after you consent, and you can refuse them.
What we keep on your device
We use your browser’s local storage (localStorage) to keep only the following:
- your candy wrapper balance, ticket history and stats;
- the fact that you’ve seen the welcome notice;
- your cookie choice.
This data is needed for the game to work. It stays in your browser and is not sent to us. You can delete it at any time by clearing site data in your browser settings or by pressing “Start over” in the game.
Cookies
The site doesn’t need cookies to work. On your first visit we ask you about optional cookies:
| Category | Purpose | When used |
|---|---|---|
| Necessary | Saving your game progress and your cookie choice (local storage) | Always — the site can’t work without it |
| Statistics | Understanding the number of visits and how the site is used, in aggregate | Only after “Accept all” |
| Advertising | Measuring how well our ads for the site perform | Only after “Accept all” |
If you press “Reject optional”, we won’t load any statistics or advertising tools. You can change your choice at any time:
Third-party providers
If you accept optional cookies, the statistics and advertising tools we use (such as Google or Meta services) may process technical data like cookie identifiers, device type and pages visited, under their own privacy policies. We do not sell your personal data.
Server logs
Like any website, our hosting provider may automatically log technical data about requests (such as IP address, browser type and time of visit) for security and operation. We don’t use this data to identify you.
Children
The site is intended for adults aged 18 and over and is not directed at children. We don’t knowingly collect any data from minors.
Your rights
At any time you can refuse optional cookies or withdraw your consent, and delete the data stored in your browser. For any privacy question, contact us.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of the page.
